成员高地议会南方规划申请委员会一致拒绝在Inverness City Centre的六层，162张酒店的计划申请。

Following the planning officer’s recommendations, the council said the application was refused for the following reasons: “The development, if implemented, would have a significant adverse impact on the character and appearance of the Inverness (Riverside) Conservation Area and three adjacent Listed Buildings and their settings - Dunbar’s Hospital; former Farraline Park School and the Old High Church - by virtue of the scale, mass and design of the hotel and would fail to demonstrate sensitive siting and high quality design in keeping with local character and the historic environment and in making use of appropriate materials.
